  Triumphant Moments: Highlights from MICamping 2024 MICamping 2024 culminated in a thrilling tie for the title of Over-all Champions between Team Cheetah and Team Falcon, showcasing their exceptional prowess and teamwork. Trailing closely behind were Team Panther in 3rd place, followed by Team Dragon in 4th, and Team Orca in 5th. Team Shark secured the 6th spot, while Team Python, Team Cobra, and Team Tiger claimed the 7th, 8th, and 9th positions respectively. In a display of outstanding performance, Team Dragon seized the title of Best in Games, closely followed by Team Python and Team Panther, who secured the second and third positions. The dance competition saw Team Cheetah triumphantly clinching the top spot, with Team Eagle and Team Falcon securing second and third place respectively. Congratulations Best Speakers- Nicole Narciso,  Margaret Muleta Masupa,  Quizana Guivala,  Tanaya Cumbana, Thulane Sitoe, Ranim Kaiss Maputo International College dominates Model United Nations Conference MIC swept the top honors at the recent Model United Nations Conference hosted at AISM from March 15 to 17, 2024. Among the standout achievers were high school students Nicole Narciso, Margaret Muleta Masupa, Quizana Guivala, Tanaya Cumbana, Thulane Sitoe, and Ranim Kaiss, all hailing from Maputo International College (MIC). These students showcased exceptional debate skills across four committees: Human Rights, Security Council, Political Committee, and General Assembly. Representing various nations, delegates from five participating schools engaged in tackling pressing global issues, including the Gaza conflict, blood diamond trade in Congo, the Tigray conflict in Ethiopia, and emerging human rights challenges in developing nations.               Maputo International College, founded by Mr. Ali Yahfoufi, opened its doors in January 2018, with its official foundation day celebrated on February 24, 2018. Known by its acronym MIC, the institution is recognized by the Cambridge International School for its commitment to international education and examination standards. Following the unfortunate passing of Mr. Ali Yahfoufi in December 2023, the role of Administrator was assumed by his brother, Mr. Hussein Yahfoufi. Mr. Mohammad Jamil Kassem serves as the school director, overseeing operations. Mr. Rindiyari Mapanzure leads the High School as Principal, supported by Ms. Marly Gabriel in the Primary department and Ms. Juliet Upano in Kindergarten. As of March 2024, MIC boasts a dedicated faculty of 23 teachers in the High School, 24 in the Primary department, and 12 in Kindergarten, catering to a student body of over 600 across all levels.
